RESIGNATION

I refer to the above matter.

As required by my contract of employment, I am hereby giving a month's notice of my resignation with effect from 24th November 2005. In this regard, my last day (excluding annual leaves to be offset, if any) would be on Friday, 23rd December 2005.

I will ensure the smooth transfer of my duties before leaving.

My birthday is 2 months away. That is, like, 60 or so days? Gosh, and that is, what, next year!

So please do not pressure me by asking me now what I want for a birthday gift for there is still time for me to think of what I'd like (and you to shop, of course).

I will come up with a wishlist in due course. I promise. It is not as easy as you think, okay [insert frown here]!

Until then, go worry your gorgeous selves with something more worthwhile. I would not want to be accused of being stiffling now, would I?

Rest in peace for you left a good legacy behind.

Being babysitter for the past few days have triggered the maternal instincts in me. Now, I wonder if my parents will crumble under the pressure of my youngest brother and I pestering them for another sibling. I bet it'll be much easier on them, despite having to begin the nurturing process all over again.

What say you?

It has been a very tiring day, what with hyperactive cousins, nephews and nieces. Nevertheless, it has been a wonderful day despite me missing my younger brother greatly. With that said and done, I wish one and all, on behalf of my family, Salam Aidilfitri 2005 and Maaf Zahir Batin - because I know that my words can be hurting sometimes.
